The sky: bathed in beautiful, warm light in the daytime, speckled with stars that hung in comforting velvet as night took hold.Eight years... eight long years has it been since the beautiful sights of each had been witnessed by her and others. It was bewitching... and a testament to everything many took for granted. It was enough to make her eyes sting with tears she never knew she was holding for this moment.So enchanting was it that she neglected the surrounding area at first. Once brought out of her dream did she realise that it was certainly too good to be true. No longer surrounded by the brick and mortar of where she once stood, instead surrounded by trees and a haunting silence.Only when she wandered and found a town further unknown to her did she think to ask: "where am I?"

A woman from the star of Eos, Primam is one of potentially several that have found their way to Hydaelyn though no will of their own. Having started her journey in the lands of Yanxia, Primam was guided to Shirogane by a travelling Red Mage by the name of Cynemund Blacke. Later, she would find herself at the Black Snow Museum, an educational building ran by Cynemund and his wife.In her time in Shirogane working at the Black Snow Museum, Primam learned a lot about Primals, Kami, the Garleans, and even Eorzea. What she learned about Othard was from Cynemund, or his wife, Yuki. A lover of knowledge and learning, Primam was ever so grateful that this was how she got to learn about Hydaelyn without compromising her identity.Of course... once Primam felt like she could trust Cynemund with her origins, she told him of Eos, the everlasting night, how she wanted to learn how to find a way back home... all of it. Fearing that she would be judged or even believed to have been mad, a wave of relief washed over Primam when Cynemund took this information in and helped her to create a lie of a story to explain herself when talking to others.Since reuniting with a friend from her home star, Callidus Cicuma, Primam has found herself enjoying that companionship as well as looking into any information regarding those she knows were with her on the day she ended up on Hydaelyn. Together with Callidus, Primam has started pouring efforts into gathering any data regarding aether travel on top of potential news of comrades and civilians from Eos.

Not Quite from Around Here
Residing in Shirogane and making visits to Kugane makes Primam stand especially out when compared to the citizens of Othard in general. She makes claims that she is actually from Ala Ghiri and took on an Eorzean accent when having to take refuge in Ul'dah when she was younger... but perhaps there is something more to that under the surface.
Come to the Black Snow Museum!
Primam works at a museum that opened up in Shirogane called the Black Snow Museum. It features all kinds of exhibits, mostly focusing on Primals and Kami. Though she has learned a lot about the exhibits rather recently herself, she is excited to share what she now knows with people that come to visit.
No Aether to Detect
Due to the general non-magical nature of the people of Eos, only select few are gifted any trust of the royal Lucis Caelum family to wield magic. However, thanks to this way of manipulating magic, Primam cannot be seen with aether of any kind to those that can detect or sense it.
Soul of a Red Mage
Primam has a Red Mage Soul Crystal that has taken a shine to her and reacted to her presence from her mentor. It has since been passed to her in confidence that she would take up the mantle of a Red Mage, and rightfully uphold the selfsame values that her mentor had before her.
What Did You Say?
With lingo and colloquialisms that Primam is hardly used to, as well as lingo that she is already accustomed to from her own life back on Eos, Primam can often be heard correcting herself, or speaking slowly to avoid saying something foreign to Hydaelyn.
Ruby Bazaar
Being that the Ruby Bazaar is a branch of the East Aldenard Trading company, and imports items from Eorzea to Kugane, it is not uncommon to find Primam heading over there to place orders either on the behalf of the Blackes, or for her own intentions. She seems to normally pick up Eorzean-text books from them.

A man from the same star of Eos, and one of the handful of victims that were engulfed in light before waking up on Hydaelyn much like Primam. These two have known each other for several years. Where Primam studied and trained to eventually become one of the Crownsguard like her parents before her, Callidus had simply studied. The two of them bore an understanding and friendly terms based off of their desire for greater knowledge. In the past, Primam had never really considered Callidus more than a friend -- especially since she struggled, and continues to struggle -- with the fact that she had feelings for someone else on Eos before being spirited away.Upon being reunited on the docks of Kugane, Primam opened her room and everything she owned in the six months that she accrued to Callidus, giving him a place to stay at the Rest. The more that Primam spent with Callidus, however, the more that she found herself enjoying his company. She also has great comfort in the fact that the only one she knows at this current time that could even come to comprehend the emotions regarding her time on Hydaelyn that she keeps hidden from the others is none other than him.These days, Primam and Callidus are quite close and share in more intimate forms of affection with one another. There is comfort in knowing Primam has a hand to hold when it comes to Callidus.At this current time, both Primam and Callidus are pouring much of their time, effort, and attention into furthering their knowledge of Hydaelyn and travelling by use of aether. The two have bounced many ideas off of one another as well as have scavenged the destroyed parts of Yanxia's town and the abandoned castrum in search of material. The two of them are ready to put certain theories to practise to see if they might work.
Primam's brother, and currently one of the only other two Glaives that she knows is on Hydaelyn at this time. The two are fraternal twins and grew up together. Both had great expectations placed upon them, and both have achieved great things as a result. Always working best in tandem as they apply themselves in chorus, their teamwork has made them prime candidates for their roles as Crownsguard... if they were not already set to become Kingsglaive to learn from their peers within by their parents.The two seem to share a rather positive relationship with one another, and Tandem looks to be someone that Primam can talk to rather freely without tripping over her words, or having to speak slowly so as to give herself more time to articulate her words better. Like in true sibling fashion, though, the two do make jabs at one another, and can even sound downright mean to one another without really meaning it.A few months after Primam had been working at the Black Snow Museum, and saving every koban or gil that came in for her specifically, it was a welcome surprise thanks to the efforts of a friend of Cynemund's that worked with the Starry Knights, Manaka Shimizu. The two were able to catch up and discuss potential plans. Though when Tandem made the comment that he would have wanted to stay in Shirogane so that they could work together, Primam suggested that her brother go back home so that they could work together in covering more ground to look for any other Eosian residents.While Primam takes care of things in Hingashi with the museum, Tandem is resolved to help out with things alongside the Starry Knights thanks to his sister. The two keep in frequent contact to update one another of happenings on their sides of things via linkpearl.

Cynemund Blacke
Met in Namai of Yanxia, Cynemund originally regarded Primam with distrust. However, Primam seemed to prove herself to him the more that she stuck her neck out for the people of the town and put herself to work for those that needed the help during his visit to the countryside. Taking Primam under his wing, he questioned her further, not really pleased with the fact that she kept insisting that she was not from Hydaelyn.Eventually, Primam's genuine questions and way of speech eventually led Cynemund to believe that she might have at least been somewhat serious. Choosing to watch over Primam further, he noted her aptitude for magic and slowly worked up to the point where he asked her if she wished to learn the art of the Crimson Duellists. Surprised by this, Primam accepted and Cynemund then became her mentor. During this time, Cynemund also brought Primam back to the museum that he and his wife ran.Though Primam recognises that Cynemund has a lot of his own obligations, she is grateful that he took time out to look out for her, and teach her in the ways of the Red Mage as well as the history of the Crimson Duellists... despite the story ending in unfortunate tragedy. Along with learning how to use both black and white magics, as well as expand her own magical knowledge, Cynemund also taught Primam more about the history against Garlemald since he mistook her for a Garlean in the beginning due to her name.In her time at the museum and helping to tend to the exhibits, Primam learned a lot more from Cynemund and his wife, Yuki. Over time of learning and helping out, Cynemund approached Primam with the intention of teaching her way of the Crimson Duellist, providing her with her very own rapier. They trained whenever they were not busy with work.Since they had been training for months, Cynemund started to treat Primam more like a daughter. After his Soul Crystal reacted to her presence after training with her with no holds barred, he passed his Red Mage Soul Crystal to her along with having gifted her a brand new rapier by his own design. Primam treasures these things dearly, and keeps her Red Mage Soul Crystal close.

An old friend of Cynemund and Yuki's, Manaka has a commanding presence around her that tends to make Primam a little intimidated into speaking with her. However, since Manaka brings treasures for Cynemund to appraise and sometimes buy, Primam has developed a respect for Manaka.It is thanks to Manaka that both Primam and her brother were able to reunite with one another and make sure that one another were okay. For that, Manaka has Primam's boundless gratitude. Though, she must admit that the stories that she hears from her brother regarding how strict and sometimes scary Manaka can be seem to check out -- but it's also rather amusing to Primam, who has never really known her brother to be afraid of much. At least on an obvious scale.
An overwhelmingly kind person, Primam met U'rahla before he became a Sultansworn in Ul'dah. Primam has shared information and feelings with U'rahla that she never really found in herself to do for any one else, though that seems to be attributed to his strange kind of magnetism.Primam regards U'rahla fondly, and sees him as a great friend.Primam was able to attend U'rahla and Yehn'to's Ceremony of Eternal Bonding alongside Callidus.
Yehn'to Jinkhu
Introduced to Primam by U'rahla, Yehn'to is a friend through shared experiences. One of the things that Primam admittedly remembers about Yehn'to from being introduced to him is that U'rahla refers to him as "Keepsake". However, due to the nature of learning that, unlike U'rahla, Yehn'to is a Keeper of the Moon tribe Miqo'te; she refers to him as Yehn after having been given permission. After finding out more about one another and the similarities they share, as well as the sentiments they agree upon, the two seem to see each other as kindred in one essence or another.Primam was able to attend U'rahla and Yehn'to's Ceremony of Eternal Bonding alongside Callidus. She was invited by U'rahla along with her plus one.
Met at the Ofunakura in Shirogane while in the pursuit of where to get some varnish to help repair the Wayfarer's Rest, Primam introduced herself to Altheria as well as her Hrothgar friend, Yarothgar Korvasch. Interestingly enough, Primam was not really sure why the two of them wished to assist her rather than leaving her to interact with the people that actually worked the ship building and repair within the establishment.Primam told Altheria about the Wayfarer's Rest and how it was an open home for people in need. This prompted Altheria to see the Rest for herself and even start to devote her time and efforts into helping get the Rest back up on its feet alongside Primam and a reluctant Yarothgar. In this, however, Primam learned about one of the Garleans that was keeping tabs on Altheria, Alexander dus Wyther, who has since been blacklisted from the Rest on the grounds of disrespecting the sanctuary of the Rest and further threatening the Rest with Garlean forces.Altheria's drive and commitment to seeing the Rest getting back into working order, Primam has considered Altheria a rather valuable ally to the Rest. She does find herself fretting over her wellbeing, however, because it seems that Altheria works herself to the bone. Not to mention that with her making much use of the Rest's dojo, Primam can only imagine the wear she is causing to her body.Since being kidnapped by Garlean forces, Primam has noted a change in Altheria's overall demeanour. While Primam knows that it is not Altheria's fault, she has not really said anything to indicate otherwise as of yet. For now, Primam wants to alleviate any worry by continuing to act on as normal.
Yarothgar Korvasch
Met at the Ofunakura in Shirogane alongside Altheria Zhandri while in the pursuit of where to get some varnish to help repair the Wayfarer's Rest. She hopes for only the best for Yarothgar as he works at the Starry Garden alongside her brother in the Black Shroud.
Alexander Wyther
An unexpected guest to the Wayfarer's Rest, Alexander has left a rather negative impression on Primam at this current time. Thanks to his choice of words and inexplicable skill at shoving his foot into his own mouth, Primam has declared Alexander the first person to be blacklisted from the Wayfarer's Rest.
A rather interesting and odd person to Primam, Alicia was one of the people that went with Primam, Yisun, Altheria, and U'rahla to check out a neighbouring household for a spot of mystery. Shortly after, Alicia had approached Primam again, seemingly having forgotten her in some sense.Primam is not entirely sure how to handle Alicia's mode of speech.
A new acquaintance to Primam. She met Kagehiko whilst conversing with Yehn'to in the Library of the Wayfarer's Rest. Part of Primam seems to connect very well to Kagehiko, seeing as the two of them tend to have a similar mode of speech habit.Kagehiko was present at the Tanabata before Primam was abducted, and was part of the relief and rescue efforts to getting her as well as Yisun and Maiyze back from Garlean custody. Due to this, Kagehiko has made an effort to make sure that Primam was alright following her return to the Rest.Rather unscathed and untouched, Primam fortunately made it out better than the others that were abducted, though she admittedly feels a little guilty about the only thing that was noteworthy was her hair being cut. Nevertheless, Kagehiko has expressed that he is at least glad to know Primam is well.

Met at the Kogane Dori Markets whilst running some errands, Primam notes Vaeros as the first Auri that she has met outside of the Rest, or being affiliated with the Rest in some aspect.Primam has learned that Vaeros has done work as a mercenary and that she reminds him of his siblings!
One of the workers of the Starry Garden that seems to be friends with her brother. While Primam is not quite sure if Rina is a Knight or not, like her brother, she does know that Rina seems to have a good heart.

I am 21+. Just to avoid continually updating my age on here as years pass, I was born February of 1992.
I don't do ERP, especially not with people I barely know. Please don't try to force it. Nothing honestly makes me drop an RP faster. Mature roleplayer is not to be confused with Adult roleplayer in my case. I just like more mature themes and a consistent story or arc to be part of.
My RP tag being on doesn't always mean that I'm in character. Sometimes it's just an invitation for walkups or tells. Please sent a tell first so that I can confirm my status!
If I'm in the Quicksand and RPing for any reason, the RP is probably considered non-canon to me.

Hey there, I'm Jay, the player behind Primam. I got into FFXIV after having a bit of a falling out with WoW once my fiancé and I finished BfA content and our RP guild ended up dissolving (they were awesome people, though! I do miss them). When I got into FFXIV, I had been playing FFXV pretty heavily, and was very much aware of the lore and story behind the characters as well as the Kingsglaive, which is what I decided to role with when I brought Primam over to act as my main.I am the FC Leader of the friends-only RP group, Starry Knights «.SKG.», on a different character. I also used to be an FC Officer with the Wayfarer's Rest «WF-RP». I am still very close to the Wayfarer's Rest FC, I just chose that I wanted to actually spend my time in FFXIV decorating houses and doing smaller RP stuff with fewer people instead of group management stuff.Unfortunately, I don't really share my Discord with people, but you can find me floating around and about here and there.

Association: AetherAble to use weapons that she has attuned to and claimed as her own, Primam can perform a warp strike. Her weapon acts as a vessel for her soul to traverse before returning her to a corporeal form. This is used to sometimes make the first strike against enemies. Perfect for a surprise attack.Warp Strike allows movement up to 60 fulms to attack an enemy for half a heart on a successful strike. Critical success will take a heart and a half. Character will then stay at that location within melee range of the enemy.Invisibility ◆◇◇◇◇
Association: AetherManipulating the mana (aether) around her, Primam can create a cloak that blends her in with the surroundings. A perceptive eye might be able to tell her from the surroundings, however, but those that are unaware will certainly have to rely on other means to track her.Invisibility increases any stealth type checks for the character by the amount of pips in the Skill in addition to the pips in the associated Attribute.Crystalline Barrier ◆◇◇◇◇
Association: AetherProviding defences where necessary is something that Primam has trained herself to do when it really counts. After all, she is no melee combatant, and having a barrier to protect her from both projectile and melee forces has been a boon to her -- and others' -- wellbeing.A crystalline barrier is erected and surrounds the caster and three other people within a ten-fulm diametre, shielding them for up to two hearts of damage. If the barrier is destroyed, the caster needs to take a turn to recuperate.Effervescence (RDM) ◆◇◇◇◇
Association: AetherA mighty welling of mana might be too much for some, but for Primam, a well-practised mage of her world, she can share that bounty with the others around her. This outpouring of mana bolsters those that are around her.Mana -- Aether -- is shared to the people around the caster within a thirty-fulm diametre. For the next two turns, everyone within Effervescence's cast range receives a +1 to their rolls. This Skill can only be cast twice per battle.

The Art of Elemancy
Association: AetherBack on Eos, Primam devoted much of her time to studying Elemancy and creating some of the strongest spells that could be contained within specially created vials. Utilising components that she has learned of and discerned certain elemental properties of, Primam can create either debilitating or rejuvenating spells for her allies' benefit.Primam carries with her a bag of varying items -- be they monster components, gemstones, or herbs of one kind or another. She can utilise and attune her mana to mix these into powerful spells that have varying success rates.
